By accessing or using Garden Planner, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

AI-Generated Advice Disclaimer

Garden Planner provides AI-generated gardening advice for informational purposes only. This advice does not constitute professional horticultural, agricultural, landscaping, or any other professional advice. The AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. You should always verify critical decisions — especially those involving pesticide or chemical use, plant toxicity (particularly around children or pets), structural landscaping, or any activity that could affect health or property — with a qualified professional. You use AI-generated advice at your own risk.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload, including:

• Garden profiles and plan descriptions
• Photos you upload (including for the Reimagine feature)
• Notes, wishlists, and playbook entries

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as part of the service (e.g., sending your photo to the AI image generation API for reimagination).

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by the AI — including advice cards, reimagined garden images, deck covers, weekly digests, and task suggestions — is provided to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may save, share, and reference AI-generated content for your own gardening purposes. AI-generated content may not be resold or presented as professional advice.

Conversation Logging

All interactions with the AI advisor — including chat messages, voice inputs, and agent task executions — are logged. We use these logs for safety monitoring, debugging, quality improvement, and to build long-term memory that improves your personalized experience. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or inject adversarial prompts into the AI system.
• Use the service for purposes unrelated to gardening or home landscaping in ways that abuse system resources.
• Circumvent rate limits or make excessive automated requests.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.

Rate Limits

To ensure fair access, we may impose rate limits on AI interactions, image generation, web searches, and other resource-intensive features. These limits may change without notice. Excessive usage that degrades the service for others may result in temporary throttling.

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in activity that threatens the security or availability of Garden Planner. Where possible, we will provide notice before taking action.

Service Availability

Garden Planner is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated advice will be accurate. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Garden Planner and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to damages resulting from following AI-generated advice, loss of garden plants, property damage, or data loss.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
